Hey Amy,

I'm also a developer by heart and hate creating bad code. By this piece, I didn't mean developers have to create bad code and avoid clean one from start. I meant the higher the uncertainty, the smaller the investment.

I noticed many times teams taking long to get real feedback from end-users just to learn the initiative is worthless for them. A better approach to me is to invest as small as possible to correct the direction and as we gain enough problem understanding, we should definetely build it right.

In summary, I advocate to reduce waste by learning faster from end-users. You may still disagree with me but that's fine. For me, an outstanding application that doesn't resonate with real users is pointless and nobody like seeing their beautiful code going straight to the trash bin.
