I can understand your skepticism. We don't intend the manifesto to solve all problems, if people would step back and reflect on how they work and incrementally adapt to what makes sense for that, I'd be already happy.

This is just a first step to trigger curiosity, and encourage people to take action fostering changes. At least we hope that.
