I think I disagree in terms with you. For me, Scrum is about creating value sooner and fostering collaboration. Getting work done doesn't mean creating value.

I don't think Scrum Masters should change teams technical approach. A great Scrum Master will ask questions that help teams find solutions for their problems. The Scrum Master per se shouldn't give solutions but ask powerful questions.

I noticed you focused on the team. That's part of the job, but to succeed, the Scrum Master must go beyond the team by helping the organization embrace Scrum Values.

Regarding the Scrum Guide, yeap, I've been reading it for a while now. Different versions and current one. I didn't get the reason behind your question. Sorry.
