you've shared an interesting perspective. I think it's about dancing according to the music. In startups, the willingness of embracing risks are often higher, and therefore, it become easier to embrace learning as well. Meanwhile, in big corporations, we've got to deal with more layers of complexity.
In a nutshell, I like Scrum in particular when done well. Reason is simple, every Sprint we challenge ourselves by setting a goal, and that allows a group of people to become a team and collaborate to reach the goal. Yet, I've seen only a few implementations like that. It's sad, but most of Scrum implementations focus on execution.
In summary, when we can step back and think about simplicity over complexity, no matter the framework, we can identify opportunities to remove what distracts us from what matters most.
