I don't believe in silos. They are limiting, they cause dependencies and increase complexity to get the work to a done state.

By separating roles from the team we create silos, which will inevitably lead to failure as well as inefficiency.

Great Product Companies like Netflix and Spotify have multifunctional teams, meaning that the teams have all required skills to get to a done state. Such companies are reference in product development. Therefore, I believe in teams instead of silos.

Also, in my experience, I have seen many teams thriving. We could scale to multiple teams because we had all required skills. On the other hand, I've also experienced failures because of silos.
