I have a different perspective than you. Although I agree that many companies use Scurm incorrectly, Scrum by design is simple and rooted in agile principles. SAFe, on the other hand is not agile at all, it's meant to put people inside boxes.

It's natural for SAFe to be popular. Companies are unwilling to embrace true agility as top managers want to remain in controle. Therefore, SAFe is the perfect fit.
