I see a simple resistance to the unknown. I don't see as a revenge. It's natural that many people resist to change, but thats ultimately unavoidable.

The problem is the enphasis on buzz words, top management is tired of that. We need to talk their language, they want more results. Once we can do that, we can gain the required support.
