I share a different opinion than you.

Scrum works for large products as well, I have seen in practice working properly with eight teams already.

The values are more than courage, there's also commitment, focus, openness and respect. I don't agree Scrum was an attempt to monetize agile, I do believe it's a way of helping teams to achieve high performance.

The events are not distractions, they are light and simple. They allow the team to organize their work, be transparent, inspect & adapt.

Great products can only be built with excellent teams. Without that no great product can be built.

Everyone can have different opinions, it's fine. Over journey I experienced success with Scrum, that's why I support the framework and believe it's possible to thrive with it.
