A real Servant-Leadership will help the team to thrive. I agree on that.
Scrum a framework, it's not a process. The execution itself has a lot of room for adaption. For example, the Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the Product Value, however how it happens it varies from place to place, that's how the Scrum Guide defines.
I believe that the mindset is vital for success. Once a team lives the Scrum values in combination with the Agile principles, the team is a great candidate for success. It's not so simple, it's one step at a time.
