It's possible to scale Scrum sucessfuly. I've worked and have seen teams scaling Scrum and deliving value in a more than satisfactory way.

SAFe claims to be agile but it is a heavy machine. I don't believe in a frameword that is process oriented instead of value focused.

In my perception, companies that are not ready to embrace agile move to SAFe. It's a shortcut, yet, the results are similar to a RUP. A heavy process where the focus isn't on value.
