Teona, that's a valid point.

One trick I learned is to coach top management about Scrum principles without talking about Scrum. The word "Scrum" may annoy them but when you talk about maximizing opportunities and creating value sooner, they tend to listen more and be open for changes.

Strive for small incremental improvements, that tends to work more naturally.
