Thanks for sharing your perspective Erik. But I think you missed the point as well. I am not saying organizations should be an empty shell. I am saying they should be more leaders than managers.
It's exactly what Simon Sinek said: “The role of a leader is not to come up with all the great ideas. The role of a leader is to create an environment in which great ideas can happen.”
The problem of SAFe is that people define what has to be done, instead of what has to be achieved. This is a clear confusion between strategy and tatics. I believe true leaders define the strategy, and empower the people to find alternatives of reaching that. SAFe by design is limitting, putting people inside boxes is not the solution in my perspective.
Companies that don't embrace learning will eventually be disrupted by those who do it.
