We talked a lot about top management, and agile won't thrive without their support. We have one principle which is the last one related to it, they must empower teams. However, what we learned is that many times we need to earn the empowerment.

Teams that are willing to challenge the status quo will be able to receive support once results talk by themselves.

We intentionally targetted product teams, hoping they will step back and challenge their scenario and at least push for valuable changes. Still, I encourage everyone to get top management onboard and help them see the importance of empowerment.
