I'm not sure I understood your question. Do you team where the PO of the team was? In this case, it was me, and I was responsible for the company trade marketing product.

I've been in several situations where I wore two hats, SM and PO. It's a sub-optimal situation because you can't be excellent at both without focus, I generally focused on the product and did an OK job as SM. But over time I learned that rotating the SM responsibilities in the team could make de scenario slighty better.
